Seasoning / First-Time Usage Instructions
Follow these simple steps to strengthen and condition your kadai:
- Fill with water, boil on sim flame, cool completely. Repeat 4 times (do not wash
  before this process).
- Cook rice/millet/dal on sim flame for the first 10 uses (15–20 minutes).
- For one month, cook water-based foods only (soup, rice, dal, sambar, rasam,
  etc.) on small/medium flame.
  After this, the kadai is ready for regular cooking and light stir frying.
Things to Avoid
✘ Do not deep fry
✘ Never heat empty cookware
✘ Avoid tadka/tempering directly (add separately)
✘ Do not use high flame
Soapstone retains heat naturally, so medium/low flame is enough.
Care Tips
Wash gently with warm water only (avoid soap initially).
Use soft scrubbers — no metal brushes.
Dry completely before storing.
Handle carefully to prevent impact damage.
