Seasoning / First-Time Usage Instructions
Follow these steps to strengthen and prepare your tawa:
Step 1:
Fill with water, boil on sim flame, cool completely. Repeat 4 times (Do not wash before completing this process)
Step 2:
Cook only on sim/medium flame for the first 12–15 uses (Cooking time 15–20 minutes per use)
Step 3:
After every use, smear a thin layer of cooking oil using tissue to prevent sticking
Things to Avoid
✘ Do not use high flame
✘ Do not heat empty cookware
✘ Avoid sudden temperature changes
✘ Do not use metal scrubbers
Soapstone retains heat naturally — medium/low flame is sufficient for cooking.
