Description:

Sourcing and Processing Details: We are sourcing best quality cashews from the marginal and small farmers of northern districts of Kerala where you can see only small scale cashews farming in enter the state. Cashew farming in the state is decreasing day by day as there is no scope for commercialization and people fast shifting to other cash crops. Kerala cashews are considered as the best quality in the world, as these cashew trees are growing in the most favorable climatic and soil conditions here. But unfortunately most of the cashews sold in the country as Kerala cashews are imported from Africa and Latin America to meet growing demand. Nowadays cashews from Kerala are less than 1% of the total production in the state. Our cashews sourced from Kerala are processed very traditionally by our women SHG group in Kasargod district and packed under most hygienic and safety conditions. Another important point is that our cashews are strictly grown as organic and no pesticide or chemical manures are being used in cashew trees by these small and marginal farmers. Nowadays we can see no cashew plantations in Kerala except small fragmented farms. Each farm land holds one or two cashew tress growing organically and there is no scope for commercial production, so usage of pesticides and chemicals are absolutely nullified. We assure best quality of cashews under our brand ‘ looms & weaves ’.

    Good quality cashews. Not fried in oil . Very little salt unlike the roasted and salted cashews we get in supermarkets that are high in salt. Lightly sprinkled chilli powder, not spicy.

    Large sized Cashewnuts. Very tasty and authentic. Some cashewnuts available in Goa taste like whether oil is extracted out of it, instead this has nice aroma, exciting flavour and super jumbo size.

    I’ve been on the lookout for home roasted cashew nuts and these are the closest. Just got it today. They are excellent. Big cashews, perfectly roasted and the best part is they are mildly salted. So you can have them guilt free and you can’t just stop at one . The only dampener is the cost. Because of which I won’t use it in cooking but only for eating and savouring each one of them. But otherwise good .

    Great taste. Cashews have a reasonably fresh taste, even though they’re roasted & packed.
    The container (tin), has much to be desired.
    Once opened, its tough to get the small lid closed, and I need to push it hard to close.

    Except for the lid of the packaging, all else is good.

    These are crunchy and delicious. The best part is that they are very mildly salted unlike other roasted cashew products.
    My only complaints would that there are a few broken pieces , plus it took very long getting here inspite of being listed as a Prime product, so taking a star off for that

    If you like Roasted Cashews this is the one . From the Packing to the flovour it is really perfect. A little on the higher side from a Price standpoint but the taste in the Mouth puts that Price into Oblivion.
